Erica Romero Pender is a music artist and advocate for live music venues as vital cultural infrastructures. At Live DMA, the European network of live music associations, she works on European policy and advocacy, focusing on market concentration, fair ticketing and reinvestment mechanisms to support grassroots live music. She also works at ACCES in Spain and is vice-president of RASC, the Andalusian association of music venues. With a background in psychology and a doctorate in the field, her work supports cultural diversity and fairer conditions across the live music sector. At RNR Producciones, with Sala X in Seville, her work centres on live music venues, with a focus on their ecological and digital transition and their role in supporting emerging artists and local music communities.
