Sébastien Collin is the founder and managing director of Spectacles Bonzaï, a Quebec-based company spanning concert production, booking, artist management and an independent label. For more than a decade, he has championed a vibrant alternative scene and authentic, uncompromising music.

Spectacles Bonzaï works with artists including Québec Redneck Bluegrass Project and Angine de Poitrine. Since signing Angine de Poitrine in 2024, the company has supported the duo’s rapid international rise, meeting worldwide demand while maintaining a small, close-knit team.

Beyond artist development, Sébastien creates projects rooted in equity, respect and community. He has presented fifteen editions of the travelling festival La Ligue Rock and led three free digital initiatives: Aire Ouverte, an immersive meeting space connecting independent cultural venues; sallesindependantes.com, a directory of Quebec’s independent venues; and Gueuleuses, a worldwide directory of female vocalists performing scream, growl and fry. Through these initiatives, he strengthens the independent music ecosystem and brings Quebec’s scene to audiences beyond its borders.
